To what extent would you like to integrate MyCompLab into your course? Choose your level and participate in training customized to your needs. For each scenario, you’ll find videos of instructors describing why they use MyCompLab and how they use specific features for specific goals. There is also a link to a weekly live, online training workshop for that usage scenario.
Introduce your students to MyCompLab by simply pointing them to the Resource section and allow them to take advantage of our tools when they’re writing. You can recommend specific resources to them based on their needs or suggest your students take one of MyCompLab’s diagnostics, which will produce an individualized study plan for them. MyCompLab’s Resource section offers instruction, multimedia tutorials, and exercise sets for a wide array of writing, grammar and research topics. When using MyCompLab on their own, your students will also benefit from the built-in Composing space, which features a Writer’s Toolkit with grammar and documentation help, student models, and a link to Pearson’s paper review service.

Free up valuable classroom time and improve results by taking your integration one step further and making MyCompLab’s diagnostics and study plan part of your course grade. MyCompLab’s diagnostics enable you to assess student skills at the individual and class level while producing personalized study plans that give each student precisely what they need to improve their writing. You can also add modules to their study plans, linking them to resources for avoiding plagiarism, visual rhetoric, or other topics that are important to you. Each topic offers instruction, multimedia tutorials, and exercises to help students improve skills – and if you’ve assigned these as homework, improvement takes place outside of classroom time. This level utilizes the full-range of MyCompLab’s features and allows you to manage all course work and materials online. You can save time - and paper - by creating your assignments in MyCompLab while providing a consistent and familiar place for students to submit their documents and develop their skills. MyCompLab will facilitate grading through flexible commenting tools that allow you to insert common errors, save the comments you make over and over, and recommend tutorials and exercises to individual students – providing them with help in the context of their own writing. You can also do peer review assignments in MyCompLab, have your students create ePortfolios of their work, track and report on student progress, and more.
