Available topics:
MyCompLab Usage Scenario 1: Student Self-Assessment. This workshop is designed for instructors whose students will be working independently in MyCompLab. See a tour of features so you can refer your students to specific tools for help.
MyCompLab Usage Scenario 2: Skill-building and Progress Tracking. This workshop will teach instructors how to use the Diagnostics, Resources (multimedia tutorials and exercises) and Gradebook. Learn how to use these features to assess individual students and your class as a whole and see how MyCompLab creates personalized study plans for each student, enabling them to improve grammar and research skills outside of classroom time.
MyCompLab Usage Scenario 3: Doing Assignments, Commenting and Grading Online: This workshop will show instructors how to use the full range of MyCompLab’s features, including creating assignments, commenting on assignments, doing peer review, and customizing the Gradebook. These features will help you better manage assignments and reduce the amount of time you spend commenting on papers, while giving your students all they need to improve skills in one place.
Getting Started for Students: Crafted specifically for students, this brief session will show you how to register for the new MyCompLab and join your instructor’s course. You’ll also learn about the main features of the site and how these features can help you do better in your course.
